There are seven magical artifacts carved from precious stones, known as The Soul Anchors. Each contains the human soul of one of seven demonic beings — destroying the true vessel kills its owner. To protect themselves, each being created hundreds of perfect copies, indistinguishable from the original on the outside but hollow inside. All the vessels — both real and fake — were hidden throughout the world. Some have fallen into the hands of unsuspecting people, while others are deliberately passed off by the demons’ allies as the real ones.Thanks to this illusion, finding the true artifact is nearly impossible.
